Somehow after all this time
I feel like nothing was won.
And I'd ask if you agree but
we don't speak anymore.
So I'll stare at faceless crowds
and watch those old reruns.
Wondering why you scarred my heart
if you didn't want a war.
I'll fight you, I have to,
why did this happen to me?
I miss you, I loved you blindly...
What to do when all you
are is a distant memory?
I'll lose you,
why did you lie to me?
.
What else could I do...
what else could I do.

The days drag slowly by
but when the night begins,
my make up melts away and
I step out of my skin.
And the battle scars I wear
cannot make me win.

Hello.
We don't have much left to say,
in fact I'd rather just listen to your guitar than
hear any more empty promises
(lie after lie after lie after lie after lie.)
I know you think I can't leave you, but
I only kissed you for the last time because
I could close my eyes and pretend you were
the beautiful boy I once knew.
I just don't think he's coming back.
.
Words written in the sand can't
ever prove that your heart is mine,
when nothing remains in the morning but dust.
There is always someone between us,
So give her flowers and stop playing
with the meaning of real love.

It's funny,

I still have those simple photos of us.
They weren't ever planned,
and you never expected
perfect composition.
But once a photo is snapped,
the moment is gone.
The girl you remember
was so young, and so naive.
But you lost your innocence didn't you.
So she ran, ran away into the past,
(and you're stuck in the present with me.)
You stare into my eyes
and see your version of my soul.
"Don't you feel it too?" you whisper.
I only feel the pressure.
I loved that smile you gave when no one was around,
but when you gave it to her
my heart dropped to the ground.
I hate all of your friends because you don't care
that though I'm standing beside you,
you think I'm not there.
I miss you,
I miss you.
I miss the days when you ran with me in the dark,
when I still made you happy, not fall so hard.
Who are you,
Who are you?
I don't know how far
I don't know how far.
I don't know who you are,
cause you left me in the dark.
I woke up yesterday forgetting that you're my light,
I didn't wait for your call
cause I went out that night.
Notice me
Notice me.

I tried to write a poem about the stars,
or music, or even trees,
but all that came out were visions of you.
So I guess I'll just confess that
your face splatters across my mind in pieces,
because they don't all come together until
your fingers touch my lips.
I don't think I'm crazy,
but you are singing every song on the radio
and you are whispering in my ear
as you stare at me in the mirror.
You must be magic to be everywhere.
The kind of magic that makes trees
reach up for celestial beings
while we curl up between their gentle roots.
I've always wished on stars,
but you've given me a reason to change my wish.

Hello there. This my account for poems I suppose.
I might put up some other things like photos every so often
but for now I just need to get some emotions out of my head.

- W. H. Auden
"A poet's autobiography is his poetry. Anything else is just a footnote."
